Cape May Court House, NJ — Prime Marketing NJ has announced that Former Middle Township Mayor Tim Donohue’s role with the company will expand to a full-time position as the marketing and public relations firm’s Chief Public Affairs Officer. Donohue joined Prime Marketing NJ in a part time role in February 2024. Donohue brings more than fifteen years of hands-on leadership in government communications, campaign management and public messaging.

“Prime Marketing NJ is excited to welcome Tim Donohue as full-time member of our talented team,” Chief Executive Rachell Diaz said. “Tim has a well-earned reputation as a proven communicator. His ability to clearly and consistently drive an organization’s positive messaging leads to winning campaigns and well-informed communities.”
Donohue served twelve years on Middle Township Committee, including seven years as Mayor, where he focused on fiscal responsibility, transparency, and community-driven initiatives while developing bold and innovative communications strategies to tell his hometown’s good story.
Over the past decade and a half, Donohue has played a key leadership role in more than a dozen successful political campaigns at the state, county, and local levels. Whether as a candidate, campaign manager, consultant, or GOTV coordinator, he has earned a reputation for relentlessly driving clear, compelling, and disciplined messaging that resonates with voters and delivers results.
In addition to elected service, Donohue has been deeply involved in local and regional political leadership. At Prime Marketing NJ, Donohue will lead public-facing communications, oversee editorial strategy, and serve as a senior advisor to municipal, county, and governmental clients seeking to strengthen public engagement and sharpen their message.
“Local governments need to connect with residents across multiple platforms, in real time, with transparency, urgency, and accessibility,” Donohue said. “Prime Marketing NJ is leading that charge here in South Jersey, and I’m excited to help our clients elevate their public communications to the next level.”
